I am one of those people that do not make good or bad first impressions.
I make interesting ones, such as yesterday, I walked into a meeting, turned bright red, ran out the door, slammed it and yelled rather loudly: “there’s people in there!” Then ran around in circles for a minute or two.
The leader of the meeting took it upon himself to find the disturbance. And laughed. He then introduced himself and shook my hand.
“You made my day.”
“But sir, I need to have better bearing and to be more mature.”
“Sometimes, outbursts like that are necessary.” And he slid back into the meeting.
